The police are questioning two employees of the real estate website Housing.com for allegedly flying the unmanned object. Since the location is not far from the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, fears ran high initially.
However, the police on Tuesday clarified that the object was not flying close to BARC nor had attained the height from where its nuclear reactors could be filmed.
Fearing that unmanned aircraft could be potential weapons for terrorists, the city police banned the use of drones last year. Flying such objects over the city is illegal without police permission.
No case had been registered till Tuesday.
